How to complete a stocktake from the Ramp Web Platform

This article will cover how to complete an open stocktake from the web platform and export a report from the stocktake.

Navigating to Stocktake

  1. Open the Ramp Web Platform via the following link and login using your given credentials.

  2. From the navigation menu on the left-hand side, open the Items group followed by Inventory List or Stocktake List.
  3. The stocktake lists will be shown, listing all stocktake records that have been performed. By default, it will be sorted by most recent to oldest stocktake.
  4. To complete a given stocktake, locate the stocktake that you wish to complete and press the View button adjacent to the stocktake.

Completing a Stocktake

Before you complete a stocktake, users can view any data that has been saved against the stocktake and export reports and CSV files based on the items scanned. It should be noted that users cannot close or complete a stocktake without any data saved, and it is recommended to instead delete the stocktake if the user wishes to start again.

  1. To complete the stocktake, navigate to the Complete button located in the top-right of the page.
  2. The user will be prompted to perform one of three actions:
    1. Resolve any items that may be missing and provide further information
    2. Complete and close the stocktake.
    3. Cancel the current actions.
  3. Upon pressing the Complete button, the stocktake will begin processing the current stocktake and finalize the status of all items involved in the stocktake. Once completed, any post-stocktake operations will also occur, including export of reports externally.
