How to create a SKU Group for performing filtered stocktakes.
This article will cover how to create a SKU group, used for restricting the stocktake to a select number of SKUs to increase the effectiveness of smaller stocktakes in comparison to a full stocktake.
Navigating to SKU Groups
- Open the Ramp Web platform via the following link and login using your given credentials.
- From the navigation menu on the left-hand side, and open the Administration group followed by SKU Groups.
- A list of existing SKU groups will be shown, which can be edited to modify the SKUs that are part of each group. To create a new SKU group, press the Add SKU Group button towards the top-right.
- Set the name of the SKU group. It is recommended to set this to something recognizable and easily searchable.
- Press the Add Sku button to open the SKU selection window. Using the search field, narrow down the search results to the SKU that you wish to add and press the Select button.
- The SKU will then appear under the Add SKU button to indicate that it has been added. Repeat this process until all SKUs have been added to the list.
- Press Create once complete to save the SKU group.
