Lightspeed Transfer Sync
How Transfers sync from Lightspeed to Ramp
Overview
Ramp retrieves transfers from Lightspeed and recreates them as transfer orders. Changes are detected at each sync interval.
Lightspeed refers to Transfers as a type of consignment called "OUTLET".
Sync Behaviour
- When a transfer is created in Lightspeed, it is created as a draft first and the status is Open.
- Once the transfer has been sent from the source outlet, it is marked as Sent. The stock is immediately deducted from the source outlet's inventory.
- When the destination outlet receives the transfer, it is marked as Received and the stock is added to the destination outlet's inventory.
Limitations
- When a transfer has been marked as Received, it considered completed and can no longer be updated in Lightspeed.
