Registering a Handheld Licence for RFID Scanning

When setting up a new device or switching between accounts, users must register the device to utilize RFID scanning features like stocktakes, Geiger Search, or order scans. If a license is not registered, users can still navigate through the application despite not being able to scan.

Registering a Licence

  1. Open the Ramp Retail App and login.

  2. Tap on the hamburger menu    or slide in from the left to reveal the menu.
  3. Tap on Settings to reveal the settings menu.
  4. Tap on Application Settings to reveal settings related to the application.
  5. Under the Licence section, tap on the Register button to register the handheld.
    1. If done correctly, the licence will appear as Registered - Permanent.
    2. If you're unable to register the licence, then contact Ramp Support about licence registration.
  6. Once complete, press Save to save the changes.
