How to view a Geo Zone on the Ramp Web Portal
A Geo Zone is a group of coordinates linked to a Place in the Ramp Web Portal. When an item is moved and scanned with the RFID handheld, the GPS location is recorded, and it automatically assigns the item to the corresponding Place based on the Geo Zone it is in.
It is recommended to set up a Geo Zone for the root place to be used as a safeguard for items that are assigned to a location with no Geo Zone. This Geo Zone should be set over the any area that items may be scanned in.
Your Geo Zones can be viewed by logging onto the Ramp Web Portal and going to Places > Geo Zones.
When you first open the page, the map will be empty. Click Load on the Geo Zones that you want to view.
After clicking Load, click the magnifying glass icon to centre the map on the Geo Zone.
Click Load on the rest of Geo Zones to load more onto the map.
