How to Return Cipherlab devices for RMA Repairs
The Cipherlab devices are covered by a 3-year warranty and so all repairs are covered by the warranty period unless specified otherwise.
With the Cipherlab RS38 devices, the RMA process slightly differs from the standard RMA process as the manufacturer Cipherlab will handle the repairs directly. The process for achieving this RMA process is as follows:
- Complete the RMA form from the support portal with as many details on the severity of the issue where possible. You can access the link from the following website:
RMA Submission Form - Once submitted, Ramp will return an RMA number against the item to be submitted and returned for repair. This will come in a seperate email before it can be sent for RMA.
- Once the RMA number has been received, please send the device to the following address for repairs:
U3 17-19 Miles Street, Mulgrave VIC 3170 - Once it has been received by Cipherlab Service, the unit will repaired by Cipherlab before being repaired. This process may take 2 - 5 days depending on the severity of the damage or repair.
- Once repaired, the repaired device will be returned to the sender address
The RMA process is intended to be used only for Cipherlab devices.
As the RMA process is intended to repair all units, additional componentry for self-repair is not advised or recommended during the warranty period.
