Shopify File Import
For precise control over Shopify data updates
Manually importing files can be used for greater control over what data Ramp is sending back to Shopify. The most common use case is to update stock counts after a stocktake is performed.
When you perform a stocktake with Shopify, the scanned count of products is compared to the Shopify counts, which is used to calculate the variance. See this article for more information about this.
It may be helpful to update Shopify's stock counts with the counts from the stocktake. This can be done with Ramp's Current Stock Sync integration, or it can be manually updated using a file import.
